Welcome to the Chesapeake Bay Cheerleading 2016 Season!!
The Chesapeake Bay Cheerleading Organization is a recreational league that was created to teach our children team cohesion and the basics of sideline and competitive cheerleading. Cheerleading is a commitment and every practice is important. Cheerleading is a team sport, and you need to practice as a team as well as individually.
*Please be sure to send plenty of water with your cheerleader to each practice to keep hydrated.

You must attend a fitting to receive a uniform for the season. All registration fees must be paid to be issued a uniform.
All cheerleaders are required to purchase white cheer shoes , white ankle socks, crop tops, and briefs. See the uniform accessories flyer in the documents section of website. All items should be in hand by AUG 15. A bow will issued. If your cheerleader does not make it to a uniform fitting, please have them in a NAVY blue skirt or short and a WHITE t-shirt for games.
Athletic clothing and hair pulled back out of face. Must wear tennis shoes, cheer sneakers preferred. No jewelry.
We have a great coaching team this year. They will be in touch the week of August 8th . Must be 18 years of age or older. If you are interested, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. A background check ($7) and a FREE certification clinic, held TBD, will be required (this will be good for 3 years). We have quite a few Kent Island High School Cheerleaders that are eager to help coach our girls and teach them many new things, we just need some adults to help out.
Coach's Code of Conduct
Rosters will be finalized AUG 8. Squads are formed according to age. Typically our squads are 5-6 Tiny, 7-8 Mini, 9-10 Pee Wee, 11-12 Youth, and 13-14 Junior. Squads will be determined based on the number of participants in each category. This year, we will have three teams. Tiny's will be coached by Laura Marvel; Mini & Pee-Wee's have been combined for one squad that will be coached by Joeleen McShane and the Junior squad will be coached by Anne Barr.
All squads are sideline and competition squads. Tiny squads will participate in 1 competition per season, Mini, Pee Wee, and Junior squads 2-3 competitions per season. Squads will not be permitted to attend any additional competitions regardless of team finish at competitions or bids earned.
Practices will begin the week of August 15th and are located at Batts Neck Park in Stevensville.
Tiny: Tuesday and Thursday, 6PM to 7PM
Mini/Pee Wee: Tuesday and Thursday, 6PM to 7PM
Junior: Monday and Wednesday, 6PM to 8PM
Picture Day for Juniors - Wednesday, September 14th 6pm
Tiny - Thursday, September 15th 6pm
Mini/PW - Thursday, September 15th 6:20PM
